Having been involved in bathroom design and installation for over 30 years, Steven Dearlove at Pro4ma has seen many changes and trends over the years. In particular the introduction of the pre-formed tileable shower bases from Europe eliminating the need for a traditional shower tray and cubicle.

A fantastic idea, but a nightmare to install because the bases are usually 40 to 50mm thick, requiring all the floorboards to be removed and reducing the height of the floor joists to give an acceptable height above existing floor level. This time consuming process becomes expensive and difficult.

So we set about designing a product that eliminates all these problems. Extensively tested by one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of building materials and adhesives, the low profile simple to install Floor4ma is the first range of tileable shower trays designed and manufactured at our premises in Birstall, West Yorkshire. Many new products are currently being developed and willbe introduced in the near future.
